The Merida Matts J24 Kids Bike is a cool, fun and stylish bike for 8-13 year olds who want to enjoy riding in comfort on two wheels. The lightweight alloy frame is much easier to handle and control compared to the standard steel frame used on most kids bikes. The Matts J24 is built specifically for kids with its lower standover height and 24" wheels for comfort and control. The durable suspension fork and alloy rims are built to handle any bumps kids may encounter meaning this bike can last through a few challenges. Combine that with the reliability of V-brakes and you have a fun and durable bike for your kids to ride and enjoy the great outdoors. Simplicity and Lightweight
An alloy frame helps to keep the bike’s weight down which is a big advantage for much lighter riders. Gears are also kept to a minimum, avoiding confusion for young riders and again reducing weight.
Just Like the Grown Ups
The Matts J24 is made with the same lightweight aluminium Merida uses in our adult bikes – Merida doesn’t cut any corners! It’s also painted and lacquered in the same high standard process, meaning the bike can still look great even after a few tough knocks.

Designed with kids in mind, the Matts J24 offers geometry suited to little people. The lower standover height helps with confidence and the comfortable kid-specific finishes make this bike fun and easy to use.
